Exchange energy saving lamp with LED lamp

Personal review of the exchanging an old energy-saving lamp with a new modern ampoule led philips. Today I replaced at my desk in the attached there an old desk lamp energy saving lamp with a new chic Philips LED lamp with 6 watts of power. Both lamps have a 240 volt E27 base, a warm-white color and a light output of approximately 350 to 400 lumens. Both lamps belong to the class energy.

Basically, I have replaced the old energy saving lamp for two reasons against a new eclairage led. Firstly, I would like to use a more long-term energy-saving light bulbs that contain mercury. Secondly, I had the impression the old energy saving lamp did not have the brightness as even 1-2 years ago.

Energy saving lamp with 8 watts of power

In the old energy-saving lamps in tubular form , it was an ELECTRONIC ENERGY SAVER lamps with a power of 8 watts and a E27 for 230 volts. The old and the light output of the lamp I do not know. But because this is the lamp a little older I felt that the lamp no longer produces its full output of 8 watts. Therefore, I also once the power consumption of the energy-saving lamp measured and behold it consumes only 7.2 watts. Therefore, I assume that she has produced no more 400 lumen light output. A new energy-saving lamp according to a similar nature would cost today to around 5 euros.
